Had a great night with some very talented musicians at The Rutledge. 
Had a great night at Kimbro's Picking Parlor in Franklin, TN last night w/ Stuart Bond (lap steel, banjo, acoustic) & Tom Reshke (percussion). Good crowd and great set. Was supposed to do 2 sets but opted for one long set. We started around 9:30 and didn't get off stage until a little after midnight. Original requests were shouted out last night from the audience which was good to hear.

Alex Roberts closed the night and I played just before him. Amazing crowd of people there. A room filled with good people....and one whistler. I really have had only one day off since I've been here in England and honestly that is ok. Getting plenty of excercise and tonight I switched trains without even asking anyone. I've got the train system down pretty good. I haven't written in the blog everyday but post on twitter and Facebook (links should be at the top of each page on my website). So the blog has suffered some setbacks. I will write a little more extensively in hear than on Facebook and Twitter but more picture will be on those. I will be playing a show or on the radio or both or filming for a new UK music show internet based the next 12 days then I leave. It's been wonderful so far and really enjoying my time here. Look forward to this run of shows. Here is some pictures from the Jack The Ripper tour and other sights around. I haven't taken as many pics as last time. I'm just taking it all in. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of my friends in England in the days to come and play some shows with the guys from SHURMAN. Till more.....cheers      |
